What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors of St Thomas More Catholic High are seeking to appoint a dynamic and creative teacher who has the expertise to teach Food Preparation & Nutrition and Textiles across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful candidate will be able to deliver an inspiring KS3 Food Preparation & Nutrition curriculum and KS4 GCSE AQA Food Preparation & Nutrition whilst also delivering GCSE AQA Art and Design: Textiles.

The successful teacher will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching with the aim of helping students develop a broad base of skills through practical, investigational, and theoretical work across both Key Stages. You must be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and communicate this in an enthusiastic and imaginative way.

We are looking to appoint someone who is confident that they can deliver high quality lessons within a classroom / kitchen environment. We want projects to ensure students are equipped with a wide range of skills as well more modern techniques. Classrooms are well equipped and include a good range of equipment
