Food Technician- Design Technology
Contract: Permanent - 26 hours a week, term time + 3 weeks
Salary: H2 (FTE £24,796-£25,583), Actual salary (£15,674-£16,172)

Responsible To: Lead D&T Technician
About the role: We are looking to appoint a friendly and approachable person with a can-do attitude who will provide effective support to the Food & Nutrition department within Design and Technology. The role requires a commitment of 26 hours per week with availability needed between 8am and 4.30pm to provide essential support to the two Food teachers across two classrooms.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
Preparing for, assisting in, and clearing up after practical Food lessons
Ensuring equipment is clean and working, and that materials and ingredients are fully stocked and ready for practical lessons
Maintain a well organised and safe working environment
