What skills and experience we're looking for
Helston Community College have an exciting opportunity available for a conscientious and enthusiastic Food Technician to support the Food Technology Department. This position is for 2 days per week [Thursday and Friday] and will be for a fixed term period of 1 year in the first instance.
Tasks including preparing materials and equipment in advance of lessons and clearing away afterwards, keeping the Food Technology areas clean and tidy, ordering/purchasing materials/provision needed for lessons, stock room tidying and stock rotation. The successful candidate will support teaching staff to carry out their roles and to ensure the successful running of the Food Technology Department
Candidates should be flexible, reliable and quick to learn. They will be keen to work as part of a team in a busy environment but also be prepared to act on their own initiative.
