What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you passionate about supporting children, recognising individual qualities and strengths, and aspiring to attain excellence in learning?

This post is designed to provide supervision of classes in the absence of the subject teacher or mentor. The job is not a teaching role but will require good classroom management skills as well as a confident personality, excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to a varied and constantly changing routine.

We are looking for someone who:

- Relishes the challenge of working with young people

- Has a good standard of basic education

- Has an NVQ level 2 in relevant qualification (or equivalent)

- Previous experience of working with young people in a similar environment

- The ability to take charge of a classroom and give clear instructions and guidance to students
