Food Technology Teacher job summary

We are looking for an outstanding part-time Food Technology teacher to join our team (working Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in current academic year). We have a dedicated Food Technology room from which the teacher would deliver to small teaching groups. The teacher would also support with the Horticulture curriculum to further develop the subject’s ‘Field to Fork’ strategy.

There is a significant amount of support provided to all new members of staff – including training from the pastoral team and speech and language therapists. For that reason, we are looking for a teacher who is able to receive feedback and learn quickly. Experience of delivering a Level 1 BTEC in Food Technology (or similar qualification) is also highly desirable.
