Food Technology Technician job summary

Food Technology Technician
37 hours per week. Term time plus 5 days
Working hours:  
Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm                            
Friday 8am – 3.30pm

Grade 1 £20,258 - £20,441 per annum  pro rata 

To provide a practical, daily technician service within our school to members of the teaching staff in the Food Technology department through the preparation and provision of equipment and ingredients to enable pupils to carry out practical lessons.

Ormiston Chadwick Academy opened in Widnes in September 2014 serving the community of West Widnes.   Our Academy is large enough to offer an outstanding curriculum but small enough to have a strong community ethos in which all students are known and nurtured to achieve their potential.

You should have:
•    excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, 
•    the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
