Food & Textiles Technician job summary
We are looking for a technician to work as part of our design and technology department. Our technicians are integral to the effective running of our classes. We need someone who can prepare resources, support students in the classroom and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
The purpose of the technician’s role is to work as a member of the Academy’s strong teams being their support in delivering practical lessons. The role will involve meticulous organisation, a positive approach to learning and engagement in staff training to support outstanding practice.
The role is part time for 30 hours per week for 40 weeks per year (school term time working plus 2 weeks).
