What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of Dore Primary School wish to appoint a permanent TA3 to work within our Reception or Pre School setting. We are looking for someone with Foundation Stage experience, which may include staff already employed within a nursery setting.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong desire to work within a team, who go above and beyond for the children and families at Dore. The role will focus within our Reception Base of 60 children or with our 26 place Pre School. A sound knowledge of systematic synthetic phonics would be beneficial. Our curriculum has a Forest Schools focus so an interest or qualification in Forest School provision would be ideal.
As a Rights Respecting School we value the contributions that each individual has to make to the school community and seek a willingness from applicants to contribute to this well-established ethos within the school. The successful candidate will be required to be flexible and contribute to supporting our growing Breakfast Club and/or our after school provision. We are seeking an individual who has demonstrated high levels of initiative and support beyond their own designated areas of responsibility.
What the school offers its staff
In return, we offer the successful applicant an opportunity to be part of a highly motivated, innovative and talented team of staff and children. Our staff are extremely positive about the role they play in the lives of the children at Dore Primary School and support each other to ensure that we offer our children the very best experiences every day. Together we are prepared to give whatever it takes to ensure that all children achieve their very best.
