The Role
Job Title: Front of House & Outlet Supervisor
Location: Kettering Science Academy
Salary: BWT Grade 3, point 7, full time equivalent (FTE) salary- £24,500 pro rata’d- £21,330
Hours per week / Weeks per year: 37.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Working hours Monday to Friday - 6.45am to 2.45pm
We have the opportunity to appointment a Front of House & Outlet Supervisor to join our Secondary School Catering team. Our Catering Team provide fresh hot and cold food to students and staff across schools within the Brooke Weston Trust in Corby, Kettering and Wisbech. You will assist with all aspects of food service, kitchen and canteen hygiene in a busy and demanding environment. The ideal candidate may already have experience working in a school catering environment; however it is essential that any candidate will share our vision to provide an enjoyable and safe environment during lunch times, ensure the BWT Catering 4S's are consistently applied and understood; Standards, Safety, Size (portions) and Service levels, and dismiss the age-old notion that school dinners are bad! Travel between sites may also be required.
Main responsibilities will include:
Opening the main restaurant and the other 3 outlets within the school
Providing a handover to colleagues as they arrive
Ensure the restaurant and all outlets are staffed, stocked and fully operational
Provide support and guidance to the team. working together to deliver an impeccable standard of service to our students and colleagues
Help to deliver Front of House training to all members of the team
Ensure stock rotation, cleanliness, health and hygiene, health and safety polices and procedures are adhered to
Stock take for all areas to be carried out
