We are looking for an approachable, friendly, welcoming person with good interpersonal skills to join us as a full time playworker. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, self-motivated and eager to build excellent relationships with all our pupils, whilst working alongside a welcoming and hardworking staff team.

Your day will start at 11.45am. You will take the lead on delivering and promoting high quality, inclusive and stimulating lunchtime activities for our children. You will create opportunities, plan resources and prepare the space and the environment in which the pupils can play.

After lunch, you will spend time in the classroom supporting the pupils and the wider staff team.

At the end of the school day, you will really come into your own. You will be required to lead and run a variety of afterschool clubs. We currently run a variety of clubs for all age groups, but this is an opportunity to enhance our provision. You can choose to run a club teaching something you are incredibly passionate about. Examples could be sport, crafting, music or dance.

During the school holidays you will be assisting in our very popular holiday club. The club runs on various weeks throughout the school holidays and is always very well attended.

This is a newly created role and as such, is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to really drive this initiative forward.

If this sounds like you then we would love you to apply. Please arrange a visit by contacting our school office by email at office@middletonschool.org.
