We seek a highly motivated and energetic candidate to join our very successful and well-resourced Languages department as part of a team of 6 specialist language teachers. The successful candidate will be able to teach French and Spanish at Key stage 3 & 4.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an imaginative, creative and inspiring teacher to work in an outstanding Languages’ department where annual pass rates at GCSE are 87% >=L5 in French and 81% .> = L5 in Spanish. Languages is a popular option at KS5, with an average grade of A-. We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced colleagues alike. St Albans Girls’ School, age range 11 – 18 is an Outstanding school (Ofsted February 2013) with over 1300 students.
We are a highly regarded, oversubscribed and friendly all-ability school. GCSE results place us in the top 100 secondary schools in the country and the top 3% nationally for student progress.
