Nunnery Wood High School requires an enthusiastic and inspiring temporary teacher of Science to join our successful and exciting school. The Science Department is looking for a well-qualified teacher to teach Science within a strong department in which achievement is exceptional in both combined and separate and triple awards. The ability to teach chemistry or physics at KS4 would be at an advantage.
Nunnery Wood High School is oversubscribed and enjoys an excellent reputation in the region. Recent Ofsted inspections describe both results and student behaviour as excellent. Our intake is broad, from the academically gifted to students requiring nurturing in numeracy and literacy. Welcome to Nunnery Wood High School. Nunnery Wood High School is an academy in Worcester, Worcestershire, England. It is a co-educational school and a Science College with about 1500 students on roll aged from 11 to 16. In 1983 following a restructuring of schools in Worcestershire the Nunnery Wood Secondary School was renamed Nunnery Wood High School. The school campus is located on the edge of Worcester, surrounded by some 15 acres (61,000 m2) of gardens and playing fields which it shares with the adjacent Sixth Form College.
