The First Federation Trust is looking to
appoint from January 2024, a SENDCO based at Gatehouse Primary Academy. The role includes
- 0.6 FTE at Gatehouse Primary
- 0.2 FTE at 2 smaller schools within the Trust (Lady Seawards and Rockbeare Primaries)

but if you do not hold the NASEN qualification, we will support you to achieve
Primary Academy is a large school with a commitment to inclusion for all
children. The school has pupils with EHCPs and on SEND support plans and those whom receive in-school support for additional needs. We are
looking for someone who has high levels of self-organisation, enjoys
communications with a wide range of stakeholders and believes in teamwork and
collaboration. You will, in turn, work with a really supportive staff and
leadership team, and benefit from opportunities to work with other schools
across the trust.
