Gatehouse Primary Breakfast and After School Club Playworkers job summary
The First Federation Trust are seeking to appoint, aBreakfast Club and After School Club Playworker to start as soon as possible at Gatehouse Primary Academy.
The position/s can be combined or separated and comprise 2 breakfast sessions from 7.30-8.40am and 1 after school session on a Friday from 3.20-4.30pm
We are looking for a warm and caring individual to supportour wrap around care facility at our school. The key purpose of the job is to:
- Safeguardchildren during the breakfast period
- Preparingand assisting with activities for the children on site
- Supervisingany relevant meals/snacks required
You should:
- Be able tobuild a strong and appropriate rapport with children;
- Demonstratethe aptitude to work as part of a successful team;
- Haveeffective communication skills;
- Be able tosupport children in their play, while maintaining the children's safety andfollowing the school's behaviour guidelines;
- Be able todemonstrate good food hygiene practices and follow the school health and safetypolicies
You would be working alongside a wonderful team of supportive staff with strong links through the Multi Academy Trust.
