General Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint a General Assistant to join our Housekeeping Teamat Castle Mead School in Trowbridge. The role will involve cleaning all areas of the school, including:

• Hoovering and mopping
• Polishing and dusting
• Emptying litter bins
• Using powered equipment (e.g. vacuum cleaners, polishers) where appropriate
• Detecting and reporting premises defects
• Undertaking any necessary action in event of bad weather or emergency (e.g. putting down salt and clearing paths in winter) 

No experience is necessary, as full training will be given. You need to be someone who is energetic, enthusiastic and reliable.You will need to be conscientious, as well as:

Hours of work: 2 hours per day (between 6.00 - 8.00am or 3.00pm and 6.00pm), 41 weeks a year.
