General Kitchen Assistant - Part Time job summary
GENERAL KITCHEN ASSISTANT
Term Time Only (plus 5 training days)
15 hours per week term time only (including Training Days)
11.00am – 2.30pm (15 unpaid minute break)
Required for 6th January 2025
Level 2 Point Range 3-6 depending on experience - £24,027.00 - £25,183.00 pro rata
(Actual salary range will be £8,481.00 - £8,889.00)
We wish to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic individual as a general kitchen assistant.
The successful applicant will work alongside experienced kitchen staff in the preparation and serving of school meals at Redborne Upper School. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a good understanding of food preparation and to hold or be prepared to obtain the required certificates in food safety.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are important. Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
