What are we looking for?

We are looking for a motivated, flexible and highly skilled support assistant to support a pupil with Autism in our mixed EYFS/KS1 class. Essential qualities for this demanding yet rewarding role include:

Passion for working with young children with communication and interaction difficulties.
Confident and self-assured Teaching Assistant with a passion for working with challenging behaviours and seeing positive progress.
Good team player with lots of initiative
Previous experience working 1:1 with children with high needs.
Patient and empathetic individual
The successful candidate will need to fulfil all the minimum criteria within the job description. The successful candidate will become part of an energetic team, with high aspirations for the children in our care and will be able to contribute to our school purpose of ‘Together We Can’ contributing to our high aspirations and inclusive ethos for our pupils with SEND.
