If so, we would like to hear from you! Our small and friendly school is looking to recruit a General Teaching Assistant to work across the primary age range, predominantly with our Key Stage 2 children.
Our Opportunity This is an extremely rewarding role for someone who has a relentless drive to make a difference and a commitment to ensure that all children at our school reach their full potential. We are looking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant who has experience of supporting primary aged children, particularly those in upper KS2. The role will entail a mixture of whole class support, and also small group and 1:1 support, working closely with the class teacher and other support staff.
About you:
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative and resourceful, with a desire to work as part of our fantastic team and become a valued member of our school staff.
You may already be working in a school and hold a level 2 qualification, though this is not essential and we welcome applications from individuals with experience working with children in a non-classroom setting and recent graduates looking to obtain classroom experience with a view to train to teach.
Personality is key as you will have excellent communication skills and a calm and understanding manner, be flexible in your approach and have the ability to develop secure relationships with parents, staff and children. You will use your self-initiative and positive attitude to overcome challenges and make the most of every moment!

At Roecliffe CofE School, we strive to support each other to be the best educators and individuals, through our Christian values of Faith, Courage and Love. We are a small but social team of 4 teachers and 6 TAs, led by a Headteacher who is committed to supporting her staff professionally and personally. We are invested in extra-curricular activities, with a mixture of sports and cookery clubs and a school choir. We also take part in local sports tournaments with other schools.
Our well-behaved and enthusiastic pupils make very good progress and achieve excellent outcomes supported by their parents and a fantastic staff team.
