General Teaching Assistant job summary

The purpose of this post is to work with teachers to support teaching and learning by working with individuals or small groups of pupils under the direction of teaching staff, and may be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan with access to support and guidance as required.

We are a growing Multi-Academy Trust consisting of 9 schools (five secondary schools and four primary schools), all rated 'Good' or 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. Each school within our trust has its own unique values and ethos and is committed to the overarching principle of "Being the best we can be", the mission statement of Areté Learning Trust. Hours of Work: 31.25 Hours Per Week, Term Time Only (39 Weeks Per Year)
