General Teaching Assistant job summary
Grade: CD (point 3-4)
Hours: 27.5 hours per week (Term Time Only). Initially this is a fixed term appointment until 31.8.2024, and will be reviewed in the summer term.

We are seeking a dedicated practitioner to work as a GTA within our Early Years setting (either Reception or Nursery). Ideally we are looking for someone with a full and relevant Level 3 qualification (for example, in Early Years Education). Applicants should have either a Level 2 qualification or significant experience in an education setting, and have GCSE English & maths or equivalent.
This role involves supporting children in whole class lessons, within small group work, and during break times and lunch times. You will work with children on developing their phonics and early reading and maths as well as supporting their play-based learning.
