Brooklands Community Special School is excited to announce an opportunity to join their school as a General Teaching Assistant. We have one Fixed Term Contract role available initially until 31 July 2022. Brooklands is a specialist school providing high quality education for pupils with a wide range of complex needs. Our pupils are aged from 4-19.
You will work as part of a class team to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils. You will work closely with pupils of different abilities, both individually and in groups, enabling a varied and interesting workload that will contribute greatly to your personal development. This is a great role for someone looking to take their first step in a career in education.
This position offers a great variety of work, and will give you the chance to work with a multitude of different educational needs. You will be working with students with complex and challenging difficulties, helping them to overcome both educational and personal barriers. You will work closely with teachers in creating unique and creative approaches to learning for students, in order to increase engagement and achievement for all students.
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a unique learning environment with a friendly and skilled team of staff, who work hard to secure achievement for all of their pupils.
