Our opportunity
A General Teaching Assistant position has opened at Hackness Church of England School. You will be working closely with the class teacher with all facets of classroom support.
We are looking for a confident, personable General teaching Assistant to support the class teacher and other staff in delivery of lessons. In particular, we require a candidate who has/is:
- An enthusiastic and hard-working team player
- Prior experience of working as a general teaching assistant or working with children is desirable
- Motivated, positive with a can-do attitude
- Committed to high-standards and expectations
- Resilient and flexible
- Personable with a good sense of humour
- Willing to support the Christian ethos of the school
- A clear understanding of the KS1 and EYFS curriculum would be an advantage
- Phonics teaching experience and knowledge
