General Teaching Assistant plus MSA job summary
Hertford Vale Church of England Primary School, Staxton
Grade: B for MSA, Grade C for GTA
Minimum Age Requirement: 18
Vacancy Hours: Term Time only. 15hrs GTA, 5 hours MSA
Contract Type: Fixed Term contract initially 1 year. Term time only.
Weekend Working: None

Hertford Vale Church of England Primary School wishes to appoint a GTA/MSA (joint role) and MSA who has experience of working with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children.
We are looking for the right person to join our team who has high expectations for learning and would relish the opportunity to develop the GTA role. A strong knowledge of the primary curriculum is essential and the successful candidate must hold a relevant Level 2 qualification to be able to work with children. If you are invited to an interview on Thursday 10th February 2022, you will work with a class teacher to deliver a pre-planned mathematics task to a group of children. You will be given the planning before the interview.
Hours of work are:
GTA 9:00am - 12:00pm, Monday to Friday
MSA 12.00pm - 1.00pm, Monday to Friday
