General Teaching Assistant - EYFS Children and Young People’s Service

GTA 11.25 hours per week (1.00 - 3.15 Mon- Fri)
We are looking to appoint someone to work in an EYFS/Y1 class to support teaching and learning by working with individuals or small groups of children. The role also involves carrying out tasks associated with personal hygiene, (including personal intimate care) to support a child in the class. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, resilient and committed to work as part of a wider team to become a valued member of our school staff. The post holder will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff. They must be able to secure good relationships, have a calm manner, a positive attitude and be able use their initiative.
This is initially a fixed term post until 22 July 2022. The post can also be combined with an advertised MSA role.

At Romanby Primary School children enter in Reception and leave at the end of Year 6. There are currently two hundred and seventy four children on roll. We hope that each child will be very happy in school, fulfilling their potential in all aspects of their development.
