What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will:
- Support pupils in their social and emotional wellbeing, in implementing related programmes, including social, health and physical needs
- Assist in escorting and supervising pupils on educational visits and out of school activities
- Assist teachers in the implementation of appropriate behaviour management and teaching & learning strategies
- Undertake break and lunch supervision as required
- Be adaptable and have a high level of resilience
- Have high expectations of all pupils
- Work as part of the team and have excellent communication skills

Salary: Salary £18,378.83 to £19,313.25 (pro rata salary)
Grade: C
Contract: term time only, fixed term contract to cover maternity leave – Starting September 2024
Hours:34.5 hrs per week, 8.30am to 3.30pm – Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 3.00pm - Friday

We are looking to appoint a robust candidate who has the ability to work well with potentially challenging pupils and to support them in accessing their learning. You will have the potential to develop knowledge of some areas of the curriculum in order to support teaching and learning.
