GENERAL TEACHING ASSISTANT SEN
General Teaching Assistant SEN – 15 hours per week over 5 days
Grade C – SCP 2 - 4
Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA) – 5 hours per week
Grade B – SCP 2
Contract Type: Fixed term for 1 year

We are seeking to employ a General Teaching Assistant with some SEN experience. The role will involve working with an individual pupil in Year 6 and small groups of pupils under the direction of the class teacher. The successful candidate will demonstrate a flexible can-do approach with the aim of helping the pupil to continue to make progress to be the best that they can be. The ability to develop a brilliant rapport with children and nurture their self-esteem is essential; the successful candidate should have excellent communication skills and a calm and understanding manner.
As an MSA you will be required to support children in the lunch hall and in the playground to ensure a caring and safe environment.
Closing date for applications: 9am, Wednesday 29th September. Shortlisting will take place on this day and candidates will be informed by telephone. Interviews will be held the following week.
