General Teaching Assistant SEN job summary
Pickering Community Junior School
Required as soon as possible
General Teaching Assistant (GTA) SEND – 30 hours a week
(8.30am – 12pm and 12.30pm – 3pm each day) – Grade C
Fixed term until August 2022

Our school is a fast moving, friendly and exciting place to work and we have high expectations of our children and of each other. We are currently a good school with many elements of our practice heading towards outstanding.
We are seeking a talented practitioner to provide pastoral and educational support to pupils with an EHCP who have additional and complex needs. A knowledge of Autism would be beneficial. As part of this role, you will work alongside the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver provision for these children on a fixed term contract until August 2022. You will work alongside one child in the morning and then a different child for part of lunchtime and the afternoon.
