General Teaching Assistant job summary
St Peter’s RC Primary School is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed General Teaching Assistant who can join our dedicated team. The position is to work with children across all key stages within school. The school working day is Monday to Friday 8:45am – 3:15pm for GTAs.
This is an important and responsible position and it is essential that the successful candidates can demonstrate:
A good level of physical fitness
Flexibility and commitment
Good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively
Initiative and the ability to work in a proactive way
Punctuality and reliability
A positive attitude and outlook
A desire to support children to reach their potential and never giving up on them
Experience of working in a school is desirable, but not essential
