Brayton Church of England Primary School is a school with friendly and dedicated staff who always put the needs of our children first. We are seeking a caring, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our committed staff team who have high aspirations both for themselves and our children, have a passion for learning, are proactive and dependable and have strong interpersonal skills and a positive outlook. In return we can offer you the opportunity to make a real difference to children’s learning and to be part of a happy and effective staff team. Although this is a maternity cover post until 31.8.2027, it is highly likely that additional opportunities will come up as we are a large school with a team of over 40 staff.
We are seeking a dedicated practitioner to work as a GTA with additional MSA duties. This role will primarily involve offering support to children, including supporting them in whole class lessons, within small group work, and supporting children during break and lunchtimes. Ideally we would also like the successful candidate to work until 4:30pm twice a week to provide additional cover in our popular after school club. Otherwise, the weekly GTA hours would be 25 hours.
Brayton Church of England Primary School is a great place to work; we are offering the opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic team with highly effective teaching assistants who are committed to enhancing the experiences of all our students, whilst being a good team player. Brayton Church of England Primary School is part of The Yorkshire Learning Trust which is strengthening our existing partnership with other local schools.
