General Teaching Assistant with SEN allowance job summary
We are looking for a General Teaching Assistant with SEN provision to work 32.5 hours per week over 5 days, term time only, to support a child in our Early Years Foundation Stage and Year One class. This will require working 1:1 with the child under the direction of the class teacher.
The ideal candidate will support the child to access learning and meet the needs and targets of their Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP). Experience of working in a school is preferable, and experience of SEND and/or working 1:1 would be an advantage, but most importantly, you will have the right attitude towards teaching and learning within a primary setting.

We have a robust Child Protection Policy and all staff will receive training relevant to their role at induction and throughout employment at the School. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service criminal records check for work with children.
