What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a highly motivated, inspirational Teacher of Geography to join Chilton Trinity School on a fixed term basis, until the end of this academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity suitable for experienced practitioners as well as newly qualified teachers, who could benefit from our successful and supportive Futura Learning Partnership ECT Induction Programme

Education

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Successful completion of induction year
  • Experience
  • Evidence of suitability to work with children and young people
  • Knowledge of recent developments in learning and teaching
  • A good understanding of effective ways to facilitate learning
  • Familiar with the National Curriculum framework for your subject
  • Knowledge of recent developments in learning and teaching
  • Secondary school teaching across the age and ability range from Yr7 to ‘A’ Level
  • Knowledge and Understanding
  • Good knowledge of National Curriculum for your subject
  • Good understanding of Assessment for Learning practice
  • A clear understanding of the place of your subject within the whole curriculum
