Geography Teacher job summary

We are seeking to appoint, commencing September 2021, an experienced and enthusiastic Geography Teacher. This post would suit someone who would like to hone their skills ready for the next stage of their career. However, there is a good support structure for an NQT. We are looking for someone who would enjoy working with highly motivated, intellectually curious students at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. There is a lot of potential for professional development and progression within The Latymer School.

The Geography Department works as a close-knit group, sharing resources and strategies across all year groups. As you would expect, Geography is a very popular option at A-level and GCSE.

The department’s exam results are outstanding at both GCSE and at A-level, our latest results being 87% 7-9 at GCSE and 84% A*/B at A-level.

If you would like to work in a friendly environment, with guaranteed A-level teaching, then we would like to hear from you.

Closing date for application: 10am on Monday, 26th April 2021

Commitment to safeguarding

The Latymer School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. We expect all staff to share this commitment. Any offer of employment is subject to a satisfactory ‘Enhanced with a Barred List Check’ through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
