The Geography Department sits without our high performing Humanities Faculty and benefits from a experienced and supportive Subject Leader as well as colleagues with wide ranging experience and a passion for collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Geography lessons using the well-resourced curriculum
- Foster a culture of Respect, Resilience, and Responsibility both inside and outside the classroom.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to ensure all students achieve their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.

Woodlands Community College is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form situated in Southampton, Hampshire. It is a community state school within the Southampton Education Authority. A secondary school with places for 900 students between the ages of 11-16, currently oversubscribed with 905 students currently on roll.
The school was opened by then-minister for schools David Miliband in 2003.
