We are looking to support talented and ambitious graduates to join our staff team whilst working towards Qualified Teacher Status on one of the employment-based routes into teaching.
Recruitment is now open for September 2025 entry. Applicants with a successful background in any of the subject disciplines relevant to the School’s curriculum will be considered.
Government funding is typically available in some subject areas for some candidates (click here for more information). Information about funding for the 2025-2026 academic year is available here.
For the 2025 to 2026 academic year, the Government will offer bursaries of:
- £29,000 in chemistry, mathematics and physics
- £26,000 in biology, design and technology, geography and modern languages (French and German)
- £10,000 in art and design, music and RE
- £5,000 in English
Applicants may be eligible for a bursary if they have 1st, 2:1, 2:2, PhD or master’s.
The following scholarships are available:
- £31,000 in chemistry, mathematics and physics
- £28,000 in French and German
The School has a long-established and successful approach to teacher training with a high percentage of former trainees securing permanent roles in the school post qualification. With access to our outstanding package of high-quality continuous professional development and support, many have then progressed quickly to leadership roles.
