Governance Administrator job summary
The Trust and school are seeking to appoint a proactive individual with a passion for administration and a keen interest in education governance to support our Local Governing Body.
The minimum amount of hours per year will be 56 hours (9 meetings x 6 hours per meeting). Plus any extra-ordinary meetings that may be arranged throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administration support to the Local Governing Body.
Prepare and manage documentation, correspondence and reports.
Co-ordinate and attend both virtual and face to face meetings.
Engage with continued professional development, through training and networking.
Requirements
Excellent administrative and organisational skills
Proficient in Office applications and dedicated governance packages
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Willingness to travel to attend meetings as required.
