What skills and experience we're looking for

Willow Brook has a family ethos and whilst we have high academic standards, we are determined to provide a creative curriculum. We are situated in a semi-rural setting and enjoy the outdoor opportunities that our space provides.

The successful candidate must have

  • recent experience of working with children in Years 5 and 6
  • a high standard of maths and written/spoken English
  • a sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.
  • the ability to work alongside (or in the absence of) the class teacher
  • skills to lead group work and 1:1 interventions
  • the knowledge and creative skills to be prepare work
  • the confidence to provide effective feedback to staff, children and parents/carers.
