Graduate Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint a talented, dynamic and enthusiastic graduate to support learning across the Academy and to work closely with students with specific learning needs. If you are interested in a career in education, passionate about learning and helping students make good progress, then you will find this role highly rewarding.

If successful, you will work closely with students of all abilities and age ranges, both in lessons, in small groups and with individual students in order to help each student reach their academic potential. You will also be responsible for reviewing support for specific students with SEND, liaising with parents, students and teachers, and developing bespoke solutions to meet the needs of these students. The position offers the opportunity to work in an environment which is challenging, highly rewarding and changing on a daily basis. Essentially, we are looking for someone with good literacy skills who is innovative, organised, has strong initiative and builds positive relationships.

I would encourage potential applicants to contact Mrs Lucy Jensen at the Academy for an informal discussion.
