Graduate Intervention Tutor (temporary post) job summary
Inspire the next generation of leaders at Harris City Academy Crystal Palace. We are looking for an inspiring and talented graduate to join our thriving team as a Intervention Tutor.
Your opportunity
At Harris City Academy Crystal Palace we are seeking an inspiring and talented Graduate Intervention Tutor. As part of this role you will be tutoring identified individuals or small groups of students from years 7 to 13 on aspects of the curriculum in English, Maths, Science, French, Spanish, Geography or History leading to improved rates of progression for those identified.
You will be expected to uphold the policies of the academy and support our ethos. This role may also be suitable for candidates who wish to extend their classroom experience ahead of Initial Teacher Education.

Harris City Academy Crystal Palace opened as Harris CTC in 1990 and converted to an Academy in September 2007. The Academy is a mixed school for 1,300 students aged 11-18 recruiting students from Croydon, Bromley, Lewisham, Southwark and Lambeth. The Academy has twice been judged to be outstanding by Ofsted, with the most recent inspection judging the school to be outstanding in every aspect. Student progress is in the top 3% nationally.
