We are currently seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, who will provide specific and direct support to pupils, ensuring that children make good progress in the curriculum.  You will work alongside the Learning Support Team and class teachers to provide in-class support and small-group teaching in English and other Key Stage 3 subjects

A calm and patient manner is essential, as is a nurturing approach. A good understanding of the academy’s teaching and learning and behaviour policies are desirable, and specific training will be provided to support you in the role.  Liaising with class teachers and the whole school community will all form part of your role.

 

 You will join a friendly close-knit team who believe strongly in teamwork and co-plan units of work to ensure consistency and best practice across all classes.
