Danecourt School, part of the Maritime Academy Trust, is seeking a graduate with a passion for working with children with SEND to join us as an Unqualified Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with classroom or school-based experience who is ready to take the next step towards a teaching career in a truly rewarding environment.
This one-year role could be the ideal stepping stone for those looking to pursue Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the future. There is potential for progression into a teacher training pathway within our school after the initial contract.

Who We’re Looking For:
- A graduate (any subject) with a passion for education and a genuine interest in working with children with SEND.
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English, Maths, and Science
- Someone with experience working in a school or with children in a professional setting.
- A creative, enthusiastic, and motivated individual who is ready to make a difference every day.
- Someone who can engage pupils in meaningful learning and build positive relationships with children, staff and families.
