Group Lead, St Leonard's CofE Primary School job summary
Due to the recent promotion of a member of staff to deputy headship, St Leonard's C of E Primary School is seeking to appoint a Year Group Leader to support the wider senior leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher who is ready to take the next step in their professional journey. This role will allow them to make a difference to the provision and development of three classes, one of which they will teach in themselves in Y2, Y3, Y4, Y5 or Y6. If you are motivated about developing the curriculum, raising standards and providing stimulating learning experiences for young minds, we want to hear from you! This role will also include leading the development of a whole-school subject.

• Be dedicated to raising standards and removing barriers to learning for pupils with the
ability to challenge each pupil from whatever their starting point.
• Have high expectations of themselves and pupils with a positive, can do and proactive
nature.
