Hair and Beauty Instructor job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our brand new Hair and Beauty department/salon. You will plan and deliver all aspects of the curriculum helping students to reach their industry qualifications.
You must be an experienced and qualified professional with a proven track record in delivering outstanding teaching and learning in your own specialism. Your teaching toolkit must be expansive and have the ability to deliver a range of exciting, engaging skills and knowledge to a diverse range of learners at all levels.
Holding a L3 teaching qualification is essential and recent commercial/industrial experience would be an advantage.
Main duties will include:
• Teaching within the Hair & Beauty team on a range of programmes, delivering effective learning for students
• Planning and preparing high quality teaching and learning
• Developing and sharing resources for the course/subjects
• Delivering enrichment and enhancement activities
• Completing required assessment duties in relation to student assignments
• Maintaining comprehensive, up to date, records and providing information as requested using academy systems to track and communicate student progress
