Hair and Beauty Tutor job summary
We are looking for a Hair and Beauty Tutor to join our supportive and talented team at Bristol Futures Academy – Snowdon Village. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
At Bristol Futures Academy we have a fully equipped salon all to industry standard. We would welcome applications from non-qualified teachers who have industry experience and who have the right skill set to join our team.
We support flexible working and would be open to applications from parents who may need to have a slightly later start/earlier finish to support with the school run etc.
This role is being advertised on a teaching pay scale, however should a suitable candidate apply who is not a qualified teacher the role will be offered on the unqualified teachers pay scale.
What we are looking for:
To be successful in the post, we are looking for someone who is able to teach students to an outstanding level. They will be working with students in small groups or 1:1 depending on their needs. They will deliver measurable impact on student progress, attainment and inclusion.

Snowdon Village is the collective name for the Alternative and Special provision within the CLF. It is made up of The Nest primary setting, Engage revolving door setting accommodating and supporting students from feeder schools for 12 weeks in KS3-4, City School HQ, South and Kingswood and Bristol Futures Academy which supports Year 10 and 11 students to re-engage with their learning and prepare them for the Next Destination which is College, Apprenticeships and Employment.

All Staff are Trauma Informed Trained and focuses on Pastoral Support to Young People and their Families to enable them to re-engage with their learning.
Snowdon Village work with External Agencies across the city and beyond to ensure all students get the support they deserve throughout their time at the Academy.
