The First Federation Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 29 primary schools, is seeking to appoint an inspirational Early Years Practitioner with a genuine passion for supporting a high quality Early Years Curriculum for Hawkchurch C of E Primary School. You will be working with our nursery pupils, based in our Foundation Stage and KS1 Unit, alongside supportive, experienced teachers who work collaboratively to share best practice and provide a stimulating and engaging learning environment for all our children. You will be responsible for supporting our nursery and foundation stage children, including delivering planning, assessing and acting as key worker under the direction of the class teacher. Professional development is firmly regarded as a priority and therefore training can be offered.
Hawkchurch CE Primary School is a small, rural primary school set in the beautiful village of Hawkchurch, East Devon with good transport links to both Devon and Dorset. The school provides a warm and nurturing learning environment for pupils aged 2-11 with a family atmosphere which has excellent relationships with parents/carers and the local community. If you would like to work in a small friendly team with the added advantage of working closely with other schools across the Trust, then this is the job for you.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated individual to:
- Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children in the setting
- Work as part of the team with the EYFS teacher, in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.
- Build and maintain strong partnership working with parents to enable children's needs to be met.
