What skills and experience we're looking for

The Head Groundsperson will ensure the continuity of the grounds services and landscaping across the estate always ensuring the safe and efficient use of facilities by students, staff, visitors and stakeholders. The postholder will be deployed to any of the Trust sites and will be required to travel to and from each school.

The Head Groundsperson will work maintaining the Trust estates, grounds and other assets including hard and soft landscaping. Managing services in an effective and efficient manner to supporting and empowering Headteachers to deliver the best possible education across the Trust by ensuring the safety, reliability, accessibility and sustainability of the Trusts grounds.

The Head Groundsperson will produce a long-term development programme for the Trust Grounds to support the Trust strategic development plans working in collaboration with the Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Trust Estates Manager.
