Head of Academic PE Curriculum job summary

• Take responsibility for the teaching of GCSE and A-Level classes as appropriate to ensure excellent outcomes.
• To be responsible for the design, implementation and impact of the academic curriculum at GSCE and A-Level.
• To ensure that KS4 and KS5 exam specifications appropriately meet the needs of students.
• To ensure colleagues are supported as appropriate with the delivery of the academic curriculum.
• To take responsibility for the delivery of the extra-curricular sporting programme as directed by the Head of Department.
• To support the Head of Department with departmental development priorities and to deputise as Head of Department in their absence.
• To meet all other expectations of the job description for a classroom teacher at Twynham School.
