We are a highly successful Multi Academy Trust currently comprising of two secondary schools: Southmoor Academy; a very successful and rapidly expanding 11-18 academy with a successful Sixth Form, and Sandhill View Academy; a rapidly improving 11-16 academy.
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to lead a well-established department with a very talented and dedicated team of staff, who are determined to provide the best quality teaching and support for every pupil, and who are committed to maintaining our high standards.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead the Art & Design department within Southmoor Academy, to work collaboratively with other subjects in the Academy and across the Trust. The post holder will be required to provide outstanding quality provision in the Art and Design subjects and take responsibility for working across all stages and bring knowledge, experience and inspiration to pupils and staff. The department offer Fine Art, Photography and Graphic Communications at GCSE and A Level and have a proven track record of outstanding results at both GCSE and A Level.
This is an important middle leadership role and an excellent job opportunity for professional development. You will be:

• able to teach Art with drive and enthusiasm to secure outstanding pupil outcomes
