Guilsborough Academy is seeking an ambitious, passionate, and dynamic Head of Art and Design Technology to lead our successful and creative department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner with a strong vision for Art and Design Technology education and a commitment to developing an innovative and engaging curriculum.
About the Role
As Head of Faculty for DT and Art, you will:
- Lead a team of talented Art, DT and Photography specialists to deliver high‑quality teaching and learning.
- Inspire students through a vibrant, forward‑thinking curriculum that celebrates creativity, problem‑solving, and practical skills.
- Champion high standards, strong outcomes, and an inclusive learning environment where every student can flourish.
- Manage and develop departmental resources, ensuring a safe, well‑organised and stimulating learning environment.
- Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and collaborate closely with senior leaders to drive continuous improvement.
While we welcome applicants from a broad range of Art and Design Technology backgrounds, a specialism in Food Technology would be particularly desirable.
