Head of Art job summary
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious teacher to take responsibility as Head of Art. The successful candidate will be someone with excellent curriculum knowledge, a willingness to work flexibly to support the achievement of students, someone who consistently models outstanding practice and has students’ wellbeing at the forefront of all that they do. We are committed to providing the appropriate training and experiences for the successful candidate to achieve this.
Coombe Boys’ is a popular and highly successful non-selective 11-18 school that is federated with its partner girls’ school to comprise the Coombe Academy Trust, based in New Malden, Surrey. Coombe Boys’ has approximately 800 students on roll, including a mixed sixth form.
Results at GCSE and in the Sixth Form are significantly above national averages and the School was graded Good with Outstanding Leadership & Management in its most recent Ofsted inspection (March 2018).
