About the Role
City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking to appoint a Head of Biology for January 2025 or sooner. In this exciting new opportunity you will be responsible for Biology and will be teaching Biology at KS5 as well as Science up to KS4. You will be an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge. You will be joining a small department of 8 teachers and 2 science technicians. We have expanded the department with 3 new laboratories (built in 2023) giving a total of 8 laboratories.

About you
You will be an experienced and outstanding teacher. You must have experience teaching Biology up to KS5 and Science up to KS4. You will have great behaviour management strategies and you will also have excellent organisation and communication skills to liaise with students, staff, parents and external organisations. If you can teach other subjects please highlight this in your application.
